The Canada Africa Business Forum (CABF) helps companies identify real opportunities, build strong partnerships, invest successfully and grow in one of the world’s most dynamic and fast‑growing markets.
The Forum in brief
CABF was established in 2019 with three main objectives:
Bridging Experience
We serve as a platform for members who would like to learn from each other, share experiences, make new connections and inform about matters relevant to their operations in African markets.
Bridging Knowledge
Our second mandate is to increase knowledge about African emerging markets in the Canadian private sector, among policymakers and through media.
Bridging Capabilities
Thirdly, we connect companies to the expertise, relationships, and capabilities they need to explore, enter, and grow in African markets.
What we do
Business Missions
We organize business missions to African markets and facilitate visits from African delegations to Canada. These exchanges help companies explore opportunities, build partnerships and gain first-hand insights into key industries.
Annual Summit
Each year, we host the Canada Africa Business Forum, a leading conference focused on African markets that brings together business leaders, investors, and policymakers from across the globe.
Strategic Advisory
The Forum provides strategic advisory services to our member companies and partners across energy, shipping, technology, industry, agribusiness, consumer goods, real estate, and tourism.
Events
Throughout the year, CABF organizes seminars, member meetings and roundtables in Canada and abroad. These events create platforms for dialogue, insight and collaboration between companies engaged in African markets.
